How it Works

1. Input Keyword and URL Entry: The user enters a primary keyword or phrase along with the YouTube video URLs into the tool.
2. Keyword and URL Analysis: The tool processes the input keyword and URLs using YouTube's API to track the video's ranking for the specified keywords.
3. Tracking Video Rankings: The tool monitors the ranking of the input YouTube video URLs for the specified keywords. This includes analyzing search trends and relevance to provide accurate ranking information.

Get Started

1. Open the Google Sheet: Ensure you have access to the Google Sheet where the tracker is configured.
2. Initialize the Sheet: Go to the Google Sheets menu and select "Initialize Sheet (First Time)". This will set up the sheet according to the specified configuration.
3. Enter Your API Token: Go to the Google Sheets menu and select "Enter API Token". Input your API token from Appvector. This token is necessary for fetching data from YouTube.
4. Configuration Details:
   1. Sheet Name: This is the name of the sheet where data will be stored, e.g., youtube.
   2. Country Range: This is the range where you enter the country codes, A2:A.
   3. Keyword Range: This is the range where you enter the keywords you want to track, B2:B.
   4. Video URL Range: This is the range where you enter the URLs of the videos you want to track, C2:C.
   5. Output Range: This is the range where the output will be written, F2:F.
   6. Repeat (In Hours): This defines how frequently the data should be refreshed, e.g., every 12 hours.
5. Fetch YouTube Data: Go to the Google Sheets menu and select "Run this from sheet config". The script will read the keywords from the specified range and fetch related keyword suggestions from YouTube. It will also fetch the ranking data for the videos specified in the Video URL Range for the given keywords.
6. Data Population: The related keywords and ranking data will be populated in the Output Range, starting from the specified cell (e.g., F2). The script will run automatically based on the specified repeat interval (e.g., every 12 hours), ensuring your data is always up-to-date.
